Dogs and Cats Living Together......

I know that plagerism is n't very good. But if you admit to using someone else's words, does that still count?

Ah well, ultimately we all plagerise to some degree, this post will just be quite a bit more than most of the time.

The Cat’s Diary:

Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an Attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates my capabilities. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a “good little hunter” I am. Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of “allergies.” I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow, but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and Snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released, and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously Retarded.

The bird must be an informant. I observe him communicate with the Guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an Elevated Cell, so he is safe.

For now.

Anonymous Self Identification

So being anonymous has it's advantages, as well as it's drawbacks.

I don't have to worry about people making fun of my grammar in real life, but I also can't really let you all into my life entirely.

Maybe one day I will come out of the preverbial blogger-closet, but for now, anonymity will be where I dwell.

That said, why not give you a little peek into the blogger-closet?

What about me?

Well let's see.....

I force myself to be a morning person.
I spend far too much on coffee in the mornings.
I am a procrastinator.
I love books.
I love pens, and must always have a lot of them around.
I love being in Office Depot, the plethora of supplies make me happy.
Bacon = happiness
My new laptop cost more than I should have spent.
Dogs....not cats.
Breakfast food is good any time of the day.
I am happy where I work.....with the job, the people, and the flexibility.
The only food I really don't care for is beets (in the jar).
I am a natural athlete, and pick up any sport fairly easily.
I am somewhere between an Athiest, and an Agnostic.
I've realized that doing good things, does make you feel good inside.
I am a good liar.
I have a slight laundry fetish.
I think I am a good driver.

That's enough for now. I'll add to the list another day.

Now for the mindless ending you always look forward to:

PVR/DVR-itis

The road to recovery starts with admitting you have a problem.

I have a problem.

Nope, not recovered yet. There has to be more to that saying than just admitting something.

Well, my problem is my addiction.

Yes I am an addict.

I am addicted to my PVR!

I also have PVR-Record-O-Phobia (the fear that I will not have enough room on my PVR to record my programs, as well as the fear of not wanting to delete any programs, because I might want to actually watch one of them again some time).

That in itself is a little liberating. But it doesn't solve my problem.

Come to think of it, I'm not so sure there is a solution to my problem.....other than selling my PVR.

ha ha ha ha ha ha,....ok let's get back to reality.

I can see down the road I will be upgrading to PVR's with bigger and bigger hard drives. Will it ever end?

I do have a couple movies (still saved on my PVR) I watch at least once per week. And no, I will not divulge the titles of these movies. They are not the cream of the crop as movies go, and none of them have been nominated for any sort of awards to my knowledge.
They do make me laugh though. So they will not be erased.

In addition to the problems listed above, I also cannot find enough time to actually sit down and watch all the programs I have recorded. So inevitably I delete shows which are a few weeks old and I really cannot see myself watching at this point.

It's strange though.....when those shows were airing, I was all excited and setting up the recording. But now, I can simply erase them with just a few clicks on the remote. Out of sight, out of mind I suppose. I won't know what would have been good about those shows npw that they are gone.

Also today I don't feel like finishing thoughts off in any way shape or form. This post has lost my interest, so it;s ending....
